The Master Naturalist program involves an initial 40 hours of education plus 8 hours of yearly continuing education including classroom and field experiences.  Above scenes show a group camping at Roaring River State Park (left) and a group hiking at Prairie State Park (right).  Everyone has a camera!

The Master Naturalist program involves 40 hours of yearly community service and volunteer work.  Above scenes show our volunteers landscaping at Wildcat Glades Conservation and Audubon Center (left) and other volunteers helping with the Bird Fest 2009 (right).

The best part about the Master Naturalist program is your increasing exposure to the wonders of Missouri.  One of our volunteers traveled to Ha Ha Tonka State Park to complete his Naturalists by Numbers for this year.  This is a program sponsored by the chapter for those interested in recording all the species that they observe during a calendar year.
